Renaud reste dans le coeur des Français . Sa ballade Mistral gagnant est la "chanson française préférée de tous les temps", selon un sondage BVA-Doméo-presse régionale publié samedi*. Une liste de 30 chansons, établie à partir d'un sondage préalable, a été proposée aux personnes interrogées, qui pouvaient sélectionner jusqu'à trois titres : la chanson de Renaud sortie en 1985, avec 25,7% des suffrages, devance d'une très courte tête Ne me quitte pas de Brel (25,2%) et L'aigle noir de Barbara (22,5%). Suivent Les lacs du Connemara (Michel Sardou), Là-bas (Jean-Jacques Goldman) et La montagne (Jean Ferrat).
Goldman, chanteur préféré
Régulièrement plébiscité par les Français, dans le Top 50 du JDD, Jean-Jacques Goldman reste pour sa part le "chanteur préféré des Français", devant Jacques Brel et Georges Brassens, et Edith Piaf est leur "chanteuse préférée", devant Barbara et Céline Dion, selon cette étude intitulée "Les Français et la musique". Renaud se classe cinquième, derrière Brel (2e), Brassens (3e) et Ferrat (4e).

Le sondage se penche aussi aux goûts et aux pratiques des Français, qui écoutent en moyenne "1h30 de musique par jour" : ils sont 39% à en écouter moins d'une heure, 19% une heure et 42% plus d'une heure, selon BVA. Parmi ceux qui en écoutent plus d'une heure, les jeunes (18-34 ans) sont majoritaires (51%).

Pour consommer leur musique, 60% des Français achètent des CD et 50% écoutent en streaming sur internet au moins une fois par an. Mais ces pratiques varient évidemment selon l'âge : les "65 ans et plus" sont plus nombreux que les 18-34 ans à acheter des CD (65% contre 54%) mais à l'inverse les 18-34 ans sont 81% à utiliser le streaming contre seulement 20% des "65 ans et plus". Les plus jeunes sont aussi beaucoup plus nombreux à télécharger de la musique illégalement (38% contre 2%).
