When planning your Maui home, consider these questions during the design process:
- How much space do you think you need?
- Do you have children, or planning to expand your family?
- Are you downsizing?
- How often will you have guests?
- Is a home office part of the plan?
- How many cars do you have, or will you have?
- What kind of entertaining areas do you want indoors and outdoors, such as a lanai?
Consider the land your home will be built on, as well as what you anticipate for future years in the home.

- Where do you want to live?
- What kind of time constraints do you have for moving in?
