Unfortunately, not everyone can attend the Met Gala as the tickets are among the most coveted in the fashion industry, with prices ranging in the tens of thousands of dollars.
In 2023, the event caused outrage as the price guests had to pay was leaked, rising from $30,000 to $50,000 in the space of one year.
For the 2024 edition, it will set attendees back even more. Wintour has approved the entry fee price to be $75,000, while a table can start at a fundraising cost of $350,000.
Some attendees believe that if you turn down an invitation to such a highly publicised event, your next invitation is not guaranteed.
