Support is Essential to Success
Every adult in the Aurum Prep community is committed to supporting each student. With student-to-teacher ratios of 12:1 everyone gets individualized attention. Trusting relationships are built in twice daily advisory group meetings where teachers act as mentors and champions, keeping an eye on grades and behavior and helping students set goals.
Aurum Prep also offers after school tutorials three afternoons a week to students who may benefit from additional academic support.
We recognize that not all learning happens in the classroom. That’s why Aurum Prep offers unique opportunities like Week without Walls, that enables students to put design thinking into practice and field trips each year to tech hubs like Tesla and college campuses like UC/Berkeley where they are inspired towards future goals.
