Who is blue Nickelodeon? ›

Blue. The star of Blue's Clues, Blue, is a girl puppy who communicates to Steve and Joe through barks, which they understand. Every episode she initiates a game of Blue's Clues in which she leaves three paw print clues for Steve or Joe and the viewer to find in order to a question.

Magenta is Miranda's pet and Blue's next-door neighbor and best friend. She is an artistic female puppy who loves to take and draw pictures, and she is also very friendly, just like her best friend Blue.

Blue Skidoo, otherwise known as Skidooing, is a common action used by Blue, Steve, Joe, Josh and other characters to enter another world. It is the show's equivalent to usage of other forms of interdimensional travel such as portals and wormholes in other televised media.

The Blue Spot is located across from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock and adjacent to Crazy Cars and Pineapple Poppers. The Green Spot is found directly across from the Log Chute exit.

Blue & Magenta (or Blugenta) is the ultimate ship! Whilst the image doesn't confirm that Blue, who happens to be a girl pup, and Magenta are a couple, it does hint that the pair are part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Magenta (voiced by Koyalee Chanda in the original series and Diane Salema in the reboot series) is Blue's best friend, who is the same age as Blue and identical to her the exception of a magenta fur coat and glasses.

Blue was meant to go with blue eyes and/or blonde hair, and pink for brown eyes and/or brown hair. Then, blue was actually the color that was assigned to girls, because it was seen as a dainty color, and pink was seen as a stronger color, so it was assigned to boys.

Periwinkle (or simply Peri) is a male kitten from the city who first appears in Blue's Big Mystery. He is also Aly's pet. He becomes a recurring friend of Blue afterward.

For some time past there has been going the rounds of the men about town the slang phrase "Twenty-three." The meaning attached to it is to "move on," "get out," "good-bye, glad you are gone," "your move" and so on. To the initiated it is used with effect in a jocular manner.

The phrase has originated in American slang, which became popular at the beginning of the 20th century. It is a combination of two separate slang words which, were “23” and “skidoo”. To use both would refer to getting kicked out (of somewhere) or having to leave quickly and quietly.
