Music entries are judged using these five equally valued criteria

01.
Concept

The songs/pieces work together as a solid body of work, illustrating strong vision, ideas and rationale.

03.
Creativity

The music displays innovation, ambition, experimentation, risk-taking, uniqueness and relevance.

04.
Audio Quality

The recordings provided display excellence in production, superb audio quality, and is exciting to the ear.

This criteria is NOT relevant for Community Awards.

05.
Execution

The recording/s provided capture an excellent musical performance.

The above criteria apply to the Best of the Best Awards (with very slight variations in wording to suit Best Song or Track, Best Producer and Best Musician categories), Community Awards (except criteria No.4) and all Genre Awards.

Subject to specific eligibility requirements of each Award, you may enter once into each of the Best of the Best Awards categories, once into each of the Community Awards and into just ONE of the Genre Awards categories.
