With the introduction of Season Eleven, you can earn additional levels with almost every Trading Company in the Sea of Thieves. If you’ve been sitting at Reputation Level 75, you can now progress to Reputation Level 100!
But you don’t need to stop there. You can reach Reputation Level 500 with Trading Company Distinctions! Along the way, you can earn exclusive and highly sought-after cosmetics to show off your incredible Reputation Level accomplishments!
Trading Company Levels
As of Season Eleven, you can progress to Reputation Level 100 in every Sea of Thieves Trading Company besides The Hunter’s Call. The Hunter’s Call maximum Reputation Level is still 50.
Upon completing Reputation Level 100 in any Trading Company, your level will reset back to one, and you will earn a Distinction. You can earn five levels of Distinction for each Trading Company, allowing you to progress to Reputation Level 500.
When you reset to Reputation Level 1, you will keep all your cosmetics, commendations, and other unlocks.
Since you are not actually Reputation Level 1, but instead Reputation Level 101, you cannot return to Safer Seas to earn Reputation again. After earning a Distinction and being reset, you also still cannot do any Athena’s Fortune or Reaper’s Bones Voyages in Safer Seas.
Distinctions
After you complete 100 levels in the Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance, Athena’s Fortune, or Reaper’s Bone, you will earn a Distinction level for that Trading Company.
Your Reputation Level will reset to one, and you can continue progressing back up to Reputation level 100 for a second Distinction.
You can earn up to five levels of Distinction for each Trading Company besides The Hunter’s Call.
Rings of Distinction
You will unlock a Ring of Distinction for a Trading Company each time you earn a Distinction for it. The rings you unlock will be more decorated and distinguished the higher the Distinction.
You can purchase the rings from the Trading Company representative at any Outpost.
For example, you will unlock:
- Order of Souls of Souls Rings of Distinction I for earning your first Distinction for the Order of Souls
- Order of Souls of Souls Rings of Distinction II for earning your second Distinction for the Order of Souls
- Order of Souls of Souls Rings of Distinction III for earning your third Distinction for the Order of Souls
- Order of Souls of Souls Rings of Distinction IV for earning your fourth Distinction for the Order of Souls
- Order of Souls of Souls Rings of Distinction V for earning your fifth Distinction for the Order of Souls
