..and why you should reduce it!
Laziness. Most common thing that every people had in this earth.
Let’s agree to disagree, if everyday in our life, there’s one day when we don’t feel like doing anything. It’s just so bored and lazy even just preparing our dinner. Am I right?
Lazy is united with procrastination. If we’re lazy, we procrastinate. And that is not good.
Laziness is unhealthy for ourselves and these are several reasons why
The ear tends to be lazy, craves the familiar and is shocked by the unexpected; the eye, on the other hand, tends to be impatient, craves the novel and is bored by repetition. — W.H. Auden
Being a lazy person will reduce the performance of your brain.
Imagine if you are too lazy to do your work, or study. You will give an unexpected memory to your brain that affected by your laziness.
With that means, your brain will be processing that being lazy is normal, and you often procrastinate things because of that.
There’s a part in our brain called synapses, which means “Synapses are part of the circuit that connects sensory organs, like those that detect pain or touch, in the peripheral nervous system to the brain.”
Synapses control our body as if we were about to move our hands or feet, that's how synapses affect our bodies
If you continue to be lazy, the synapses will record it into your brain’s memory and create a correlation between you and laziness.
That's why lazing around can reduce your brain's performance
Being lazy means doing nothing.
It’s also means, if you doing nothing, your brain will calculate it into thinking rather than taking an action.
It can makes you overthinking.
Why is it?
Because, when you’re laying in bed (drown in laziness), your mind will wander everywhere.
It can bring you a bad memory that you have experienced several years ago. It also can makes you thinking you’re not worth enough.
It’s terrible. Isn’t it?
When doing nothing, we often wandering about things that had happened and not yet happened.
That’s unhealthy.
When laziness haunts you, you will be affected and become unproductive. This causes you to often postpone your work and wait until deadlines.
This is very bad. Because when you postpone your work, and don't give good intentions to get perfect results, then you will often meet failure
As you get older and wiser you realize that when people are given anything without having to earn it (unless they are physically or mentally utterly incapable of earning anything), they become ungrateful and lazy. They also become less happy — Dennis Prager
Repeated failure will increase your laziness and cause you to get nothing in the end.
